Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

Brendan Smith

Ceist:

125 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for the Environment the stage of a project (details supplied) in County Cavan; when tenders will be invited in respect of this project; when construction work will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14590/96]

A brief for the Kells Road extension to the Bailieboro sewerage scheme is with my Department, but having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sewerage schemes programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve it.

Rory O'Hanlon

Ceist:

126 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment when funding will be provided to upgrade Donaghmoyne group water scheme, County Monaghan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14630/96]

Having regard to the existing high level of commitments under the group schemes programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve this scheme.

Rory O'Hanlon

Ceist:

127 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment the amount of funding provided in the current year for upgrading the water supply in Castleblayney town, County Monaghan, by connecting it to the Kilkitt water scheme. [14631/96]

A preliminary report for this scheme is being considered in my Department. As the scheme is at an early stage of planning, the question of funding does not arise at this point.
