191 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Social Welfare the amount of money allocated by his Department or by any body under the aegis of his Department to the Institute of European Affairs in each of the years 1995 and 1996. [14708/96]
Apart from annual corporate membership fees of £1,000 in both 1995 and 1996, no funds were allocated by my Department to the Institute of European Affairs. Two bodies which come under the aegis of my Department also paid fees, namely, the Pensions Board which paid annual corporate membership fees of £250 in 1995 and 1996 and the National Social Service Board which paid an annual subscription of £25 in 1995 and 1996 in respect of library services provided by the Institute.
