215 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the total amount of extra quota granted in south County Tipperary; the number of farmers who benefited from this quota; the number of farmers in each of the categories, less than 10,000 gallons, 10,000 to 20,000, 20,000 to 30,000, 30,000 to 40,000, 40,000 to 50,000 and more than 100,000 who benefited; and the amounts they received. In accordance with the EU and national milk quota regulations, milk quota is allocated at the level of registered milk purchasers (co-operatives-dairies). The figures requested by the Deputy in relation to a specific region are not, therefore, available in my Department.
