219 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the amount of money allocated by his Department or by any body under the aegis of his Department to the Institute for European Affairs in each of the years 1995 and 1996. [14711/96]

My Department paid £1,000 to the Institute of European Affairs for each of the years 1995 and 1996 as its corporate membership subscription. Any payments to the Institute by State bodies reporting to my Department is a matter for those bodies.
