57 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the amount of money allocated by his Department or by any body under the aegis of his Department to the Institute of European Affairs in each of the years 1995 and 1996. [14700/96]
Neither the Department of Foreign Affairs nor any body under its aegis allocates funds to the Institute of European Affairs (IEA). In common with other Government Departments, this Department is a corporate member of the IEA, for which an annual fee of £1,000 is paid.
