Ceist:

101 Mr. Bree asked the Minister for Health the hospices which have received through the discretionary national lottery funds in each of the years from 1994 to 1996; the amount provided to each hospice in each of the years specified; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14691/96]

Limerick East): The following grants were made available to hospices from the health board block allocations of national lottery funds in the years 1994 and 1995:

1995	North-Western	20,000	North-West Hospice
	Western	5,000	Galway Hospice Foundation

The 1996 block allocations of national lottery funds were notified to the individual health boards on 25 June 1996 and the health boards are now in the process of seeking applications from interested groups. The actual groups to benefit will not be known until later this year.
