Ceist:103 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Health the amount of money allocated by his Department or by any body under the aegis of his Department to the Institute of European Affairs in each of the years 1995 and 1996. [14702/96]

Limerick East): I would like to inform the Deputy that my Department does not provide an allocation to the Institute of European Affairs.
My Department is, however, a corporate member of the Institute of European Affairs. The membership fee is £1,000 per annum which was paid on 7 November 1995 for the year 1 November 1995 to 31 October 1996.
I understand from the Institute of European Affairs that no body under the aegis of my Department is a member.
