321 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for the Environment the number of professionally qualified planners employed by each local authority. [15085/96]

Based on staffing returns supplied to my Department, the numbers employed in specialist planning grades at 31 December 1995 is set out in the following table. In addition, planning duties may be assigned to other officers but these are not identified in the returns supplied to my Department.
