292 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform if he will give details of the programme of meetings and dinner functions he intends to host in Ireland for the EU Council of Ministers in the context of Ireland's Presidency of the EU; the venues for such functions; the numbers attending; the basis on which the venue was chosen; and if he will make a statement on the matter. On 6 October 1996 I will host the Speakers' Dinner for Equality Ministers from Sweden, Austria, UK and Italy, for Members of the European Parliament and for other speakers who will be participating in a subsequent two day Presidency seminar on 7 and 8 October 1996. The venue for the Speakers' Dinner is Kingswood Country House Restaurant, Clondalkin, Dublin 22. The venue was chosen on grounds of reputation and quality. Twenty people are invited to attend.
