380 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for the Environment when he proposes to allocate funding to Westmeath County Council for the provision of the Annagh-Baylin reservoir; if his attention has been drawn to the great need for the provision of such a reservoir; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Proposals to provide this reservoir have been submitted to my Department but given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve them.
