An application has been received for the provision of wheelchair access to the Mercy secondary school, Navan, the provision of a lift and general alterations to accommodate easy movement by wheelchair users.
My Department's post primary building unit requested the school authorities in July, 1996 to submit costings and proposals for the provision of the necessary disabled facilities. This information is now awaited by the Department.
