123 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Justice the number of applications for barring orders made in each of the years 1994 and 1995; the number of applications granted in each of these years; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [17093/96]
Statistics of the number of applications for barring orders dealt with by the District Court and the number of orders granted for the legal years 1993-94 and 1994-95 are set out in the following table. Statistics of the number of applications for barring orders dealt with in the Circuit Court in the same period are not readily available but will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as they become available.
