As announced by the Taoiseach in the House last week, the Minister of State at my Department, Deputy Allen, has been assigned special responsibility for this matter. The Minister of State has already made arrangements for consultation with all the relevant interests concerned, and for other necessary action, with a view to the preparation as soon as possible of a code of practice for safety at indoor concerts.
