137 Mr. M. Brennan asked the Minister for the Environment when he will make the necessary finance available to the North Western Health Board to carry out urgent repair work for people who have already been approved under the housing aid for the elderly scheme and are awaiting these repairs for some considerable time. Notification of a second round allocation of £80,000 by the task force who administer the scheme of special housing aid for the elderly under the aegis of my Department, recently issued to the North Western Health Board. A claim for payment of the allocation has since been received and payment will issue shortly.
