Ceist:170 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Education the works, if any, proposed under the major facilities scheme in respect of a school (details supplied) in County Mayo which was recently awarded a grant. [19814/96]
Written Answers. - County Mayo School.
A grant of £50,000 was recently allocated to the school in question under my Department's major sports facilities scheme. The proposed works, as specified on their application of 19 June 1996, includes the provision of playing pitches, changing rooms, showers, toilets, utility room and referees room adjacent to the school.
My Department will shortly be writing to the school authorities outlining the terms and conditions of the scheme for the payment of the grant.
