In general, it is the policy, as far as possible, to make car parking spaces available on a first come first served basis. Spaces are reserved for disabled staff and in some cases for staff who are required to use their cars for official business. Allocations are generally made on a seniority basis only where spaces are in short supplu and access to car parks must be limited to designated vehicles for security or other reasons.

The Department advises that information in respect of the various agencies within its Department remit would have to be specially compiled. Having regard to the number of such agencies and the number of locations involved, it would require the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of staff time to assemble the information sought by the Deputy.
