Vol. 470 No. 7

Written Answers. - Tree Inspection.

Tony Gregory

Ceist:

77 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Finance if he will request the Office of Public Works to examine a large tree (details supplied) in Dublin 7 which may be in a dangerous condition; if he will have arrangements made to have the tree pruned, particularly where it overhangs a residence. [19935/96]

I understand that the tree in question was recently inspected and is in a healthy state with no visible defects. While the tree does not appear at present to extend beyond the boundary wall of the cemetery it will be subject to ongoing inspection and will be pruned as necessary.
