74 Mrs. Geoghegan-Quinn asked the Minister for Health whether he intends to commission an official study into the reported vitamin and enzyme deficiencies in patients in Dundalk, County Louth; if so, when he will commission such a study; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20896/96]
Limerick East): I understand that the reported findings to which the Deputy refers are contained in a study being conducted by a general practitioner in the Dundalk area. This study has not yet been published or made available to the health board or to my Department. When the study is made available I will have it examined very carefully and if necessary have further investigations carried out.
