202 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment if he will have arrangements made to make a driving test appointment for a person (details supplied) in County Cork within a specified period of time; and if he will allow her previous application fee to be accepted as the fee for her forthcoming test in view of the fact that she was unable to take her previous driving test and notified the Department before an appointment was arranged. As this person cancelled her previous test appointment at short notice, she was requested to forward a letter from her employer confirming the reasons given for this before a further appointment was arranged. This has not been received to date. A fresh application was received on 5 November 1996 and a test appointment will shortly issue for 6 January 1997.
