Vol. 471 No. 7

Written Answers. - Group Water Schemes.

James Leonard

Ceist:

219 Mr. Leonard asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding the Castleblayney town augmentation water scheme and the Annyalla scheme. [21872/96]

Approval was given to Castleblayney UCD in August 1996 for the preparation of contract documents for the Castleblayney water supply improvement scheme.

The Annyalla/Cremartin group water scheme is being considered in the context of the allocation of grants for group schemes in 1997.

Joe Walsh

Ceist:

220 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for the Environment if he will sanction a group water scheme (details supplied) in County Cork. [21874/96]

There is no record in my Department of a proposal for a group water scheme as described. However, a group water scheme serving five houses and one farm at Kileens, Crossbarry was completed earlier this year and grants totalling £7,143 were paid to the group.
