241 Miss M. Wallace asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the proposed grant from her Department to Dunshaughlin community centre building committee, County Meath; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22138/96]
A grant of £150,000 was allocated under the major sports facilities scheme towards the provision of a community centre in Dunshaughlin earlier this year.
My Department's sport section will be writing to the organisation regarding the conditions to be met under the scheme before the grant can be formally approved and payment made.
