Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to a submission from the Union of Students in Ireland entitled Education in Ireland - the Student Strategy for Change; if so, if she has considered this submission in detail; if she has responded to this document; if she will give the basis and details of such a response; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I have received the document Education in Ireland — the Student Strategy for Change from the Union of Students in Ireland. Those issues raised in the document which refer to my area of responsibility are being considered by my Department and I hope to be in a position to respond to the USI in the near future.
