Ceist:424 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Defence if he will make a statement on the future for Gormanston Military Camp; and the plans, if any, he has to close this camp in the near future. [22147/96]
Written Answers. - Gormanston (Meath) Military Camp.
There are no plans to close Gormanston Military Camp. The Government decision of July 1995 to proceed with major reforms in the structure and organisation of the Defence Forces made no provision for the closure of military barracks or camps.
