435 Mr. D. Wallace asked the Minister for the Marine the total value of support during 1995 from his Department for projects in Cork county and city; if he will identify each such project; the level of funding allocated in respect of each such project during 1995; and if he will breakdown each value into Exchequer and EU sub-components. [21562/96]
In 1995 an amount of £3.497 million was allocated in respect of projects in Cork by my Department and by semi-State bodies under the aegis of my Department. Of that amount, EU aid amounted to £2,690 million while Exchequer aid amounted to £0.807 million. Details of the projects and the level of funding in respect of each project are provided in tabular format attached.
In addition, some research projects focused on a number of counties, including Cork. It is not possible to be specific about amounts proper to individual counties in those instances.
