Vol. 471 No. 7

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Ned O'Keeffe

Ceist:

142 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health if he will have arrangements made for a person (details supplied) in County Cork to be called to the out-patient department of a hospital at the earliest possible date; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that this person has been given an appointment for next April. [22180/96]

Limerick East): As the determination of out-patient appointments is a matter for the hospital authorities in the first instance, I have asked the secretary-manager of the South Infirmary-Victoria Hospital, Cork, to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly, as a matter of urgency.
