Vol. 471 No. 7
165 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Health the plans, if any, he has to provide a medical centre for Falcarragh, County Donegal; if so, the current position regarding the project; and when work will commence. [21840/96]
Limerick East): I presume the Deputy is referring to the provision of a health centre in Falcarragh which is a matter for the North-Western Health Board in the first instance.
The board has informed me that plans for a health centre in Falcarragh have been finalised and tenders for its construction have been received. It is expected that the contract will be signed by the end of the month. Work on construction of the health centre will commence early in the new year. The cost of the project is being supported by capital funds allocated by my Department.
