Ceist:

101 Mr. R. Burke asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the Government's and the EU's response to the resolutions adopted by the European Parliament on Cyprus, Sudan, Turkey, Bangladesh, Venezuela, Bulgaria, Croatia and Belarus during emergency debates on Thursday, 24 October 1996; and the steps, if any, being taken to implement the recommendations contained therein. Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs (Mr. Spring)

In accordance with usual practice the European Parliament resolutions referred to were noted by the General Affairs Council, at its meeting on 25 November 1996. They will be duly taken into account by the Council on its deliberations.
