104 Ms F. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for the Environment the outcome of the investigation conducted by Dún Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council and the Eastern Regional Fisheries Board into the fish kill on the River Dodder on Sunday, 23 June 1996. [23831/96]

I have no function in relation to this investigation. I understand, however, that the county council has initiated legal proceedings against the alleged polluters and that the case is due to be heard next month.
