A grant has been sanctioned for various improvement works at Cavan No. 1 national school. I understand that the work is due to commence there shortly.

A proposal was formulated in 1994 to carry out improvement works to the sanitary facilities at scoil náisiúnta Naomh Mhaodhóg. My Department wrote to the school authorities in October 1994 advising that a grant had been sanctioned towards the project. I now understand that the works did not take place. My Department will be in touch with the school authorities about the matter.
