146 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education if she has received an application under the recreational amenities grants scheme from a group (details supplied) in County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [23924/96]
In March 1996 a grant of £30,000 was allocated to the group in question and the group was requested to submit the necessary documentation so that the grant could be formally approved and paid. Only some of the documentation has been received and I would request that the group contact my Department in the matter.
In October 1996 the group in question applied for further funding in respect of the project. The 1996 grants have now been allocated under the recreational facilities scheme and all available funds are committed to these projects.
