174 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Justice if she will arrange registration of a folio in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny whose payment of installation aid grant is being withheld until registration is completed. [23903/96]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing has been expedited and that it is expected to be completed within one week.
175 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Justice if she will have arrangements made to complete an application for registration of lands made on 8 February 1996 to the Land Registry by persons (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [23904/96]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application for first registration in the absence of title deeds. Research to establish the applicant's title has, accordingly, to be undertaken by the Land Registry. I understand that the Examiner of Titles will shortly issue notices which will be served on interested parties. Further requisitions to the applicant's solicitor will issue this week.
Due to the complicated nature of the case, it is not possible to estimate a completion time at this stage.
