Written Answers. - Milk Quotas.

Rory O'Hanlon

Ceist:

319 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the countries of the European Union which have been provided with an increased quota since its introduction. [24373/96]

Since the introduction of the milk quota system on 2 April, 1984, the national quotas of member states have varied on numerous occasions following decisions taken by the EU Council of Agriculture Ministers to increase or decrease quotas. The following table sets out the national quotas initially allocated in 1984 and the quotas currently held by member states.
