130 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education the stage of planning of the proposed new national school to Ballinagh, County Cavan; when tenders will be invited in respect of this project; when building will commence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [1909/97]
The building project at Ballinagh national school is at an advanced stage of architectural planning. I understand the project architect is currently preparing the tender documentation. Ballinagh is one of a number of urgent projects I am considering for funding in the 1997 building programme. I will take a decision in the matter very shortly and it will be communicated to the school management.
