147 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Justice if she will review the case of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who seeks to have a land registry dealing concluded as quickly as possible; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [1926/97]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application for first registration which was lodged on 5 December 1996. Queries were issued to the lodging solicitor on 8 January 1997 to which replies are awaited. The matter cannot proceed until the queries raised are satisfactorily discharged and it is, therefore, not possible to estimate a completion time at this stage.
