Architectural planning for the proposed new accommodation at Kilrush Community School, County Clare is proceeding and in December 1996, the design team were authorised to prepare the developed sketch scheme. Planning permission is also being sought for the development. When architectural planning has been completed, tenders will be invited immediately.
The project at Kilrush is being treated as a priority by my Department and every effort is being made to expedite the architectural planning so that construction of the new building may start at the earliest opportunity.
