Vol. 474 No. 7

Written Answers. - Health Board Assistance.

Mary O'Rourke

Ceist:

64 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Health if he will request the relevant health board to review the situation with regard to a community group (details supplied) in County Westmeath who have carried out extensive work on their premises in order to enable access for the local branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association to use this centre as a meeting place. [3900/97]

Limerick East): The provision of assistance to community groups and voluntary organisations in County Westmeath is a matter for the Midland Health Board. The board has indicated that it is always willing to facilitate the Irish Wheelchair Association in the provision of services and would be happy to discuss the issue with the association which should contact the health board's community care programme in Tullamore directly.
