Vol. 474 No. 7

Written Answers. - Roads Funding.

Bertie Ahern

Ceist:

81 Mr. B. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment the total sum to be spent on road improvement and maintenance in each of the years from 1995 to 1997 under each main heading, national roads, secondary roads and country roads, including local authority expenditure. [3957/97]

Non-national road grant allocations are not subdivided on the basis of road categories. Figures for expenditure on national roads from local authorities' own resources over the period are not available in my Department.
