Michael P. Kitt

Ceist:

81 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for the Environment the current position on the proposed extension to a sewerage scheme (details supplied) in County Galway. [4567/97]

There are no proposals with my Department to extend the Williamstown sewerage scheme which is nearing completion at an estimated cost of £661,000.

Mary Coughlan

Ceist:

82 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for the Environment the position regarding funding for the proposed group sewerage scheme at Clogher, Ballyshannon, County Donegal. [4568/97]

As already announced, responsibility for the administration of the group schemes programme is being devolved to the local authorities, subject to existing commitments on foot of approvals issued by my Department. Where schemes have already been approved, such as the Clogher scheme, the local authority will be asked to make the grant allocation to the group as soon as possible.

Mary Coughlan

Ceist:

83 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding funding for the proposed sewerage scheme for Cloghore, Ballyshannon, County Donegal. [4569/97]

The position is unchanged since the reply to Question No. 90 of 2 October 1996.
