80 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Justice the number of court proceedings and the amount of compensation which has been paid to members of the Garda Síochána under the Garda compensation scheme for injuries sustained in the course of duty from 1 January 1996 to 31 December 1996. [5443/97]
No court proceedings under the Garda Síochána Compensation Acts, 1941 and 1945 took place in 1996 in respect of injuries sustained by members of the Garda Síochána in the course of duty from 1 January 1996 to 31 December 1996.
