129 Mr. Mulvihill asked the Minister for the Environment when he will allocate funding for the proposed library in Midleton, County Cork to have it refurbished and stocked; and if he will make a statement on the matter in view of the fact that the proposal has been with his Department for approval since 1994. Proposals for a new branch library in Midleton have been received in my Department. Having regard to the high level of demand for funding for library proposals generally, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve the proposals.
