59 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Health the number of people still alive who have been identified through look-back studies and other research who have received potentially hepatitis C infected blood or blood products and who have not been contacted by the Blood Transfusion Service Board; the attempts, if any, that have been made to contact or locate these people; and if he will make a statement on the matter. 60 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Health the number of batches of Anti-D made from patient X's plasma; the number of the recipients of these batches who have come forward for testing; if persons have been identified who received other batches made from patient X's plasma but who have not been tested; if these people have been notified by the Blood Transfusion Service Board that they have received potentiallyinfected batches of Anti-D; if they have not been notified, the reason therefor; and if he will make a statement on the matter. 62 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Health whether the Blood Transfusion Service Board has notified people or relatives of persons who received potentially hepatitis C-infected blood or blood products; and if not, the person who gave the authorisation to the Blood Transfusion Service Board in this regard.
