Written Answers - Higher Education Grants.
I understand from Cork County Council, the body statutorily entrusted with the administration of the higher education grants scheme, that an application was received from one of the students concerned for the 1994-95 academic year, however the candidate's reckonable income exceeded the limit set down in the 1994 higher education grants scheme. Cork County Council has advised my Department that it has not received applications from the other students referred to by the Deputy.
