133 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for the Environment the changes, if any, he has made to the priority of projects under the aegis of his Department in his mid-term review of the EU operational programmes, 1994-1999; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8493/97]
In accordance with EU regulations governing Structural Funds, the mid-term review of individual operational programmes must be undertaken by the monitoring committees for the programmes. The mid-term reviews of the Operational Programmes for Transport and Environmental Services have not been concluded and, accordingly, no decisions regarding changes to the programmes have been taken.
