135 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding the submission made by the Irish Tax Federation and the National Hackney Drivers' Association, dated 25 February 1997; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8495/97]
The submission I received from the Dundalk branches of the Irish Taxi Federation and National Hackney Drivers' Association on 28 February 1997 is being examined in the context of my Department's review of the application and operation of the Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) (Amendment) Regulations, 1995.
