144 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education if grant approval will issue at an early date in respect of improvement works carried out at a school (details supplied) in County Cavan; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8512/97]
The school to which the Deputy refers applied to my Department for grant-aid for work carried out without prior approval.
My Department is currently considering additional information received in respect of this work and, when a decision has been taken, it will be conveyed to the school management.
