Ceist:96 Mr. Browne (Wexford) asked the Minister for Finance when a refund of tax will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford. [8484/97]

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that there is no refund of tax due to the taxpayer. Since his retirement from the Army on 31 October 1996 his tax free allowances are fully utilised against his pension from the Department of Defence.
