111 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the total number of staff in his ministerial offices and his Ministers' of State offices; if he will give a breakdown of the status of all staff, whether temporary civil servants, permanent or non-established; if he will give comparison figures for the years 1988, 1993, 1995 and 1996; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy is aware the Department of Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht was established in 1993 and, therefore, there are no comparative figures for 1988.
For information in relation to 1993, 1995 and 1996, I refer the Deputy to answers which I have given to similar and related questions on the issues now raised by him, in particular: Question No. 209 of 11 March 1993; Question No. 80 of 14 December 1995; Question No. 125 of 22 October 1996 and Question No. 97 of 19 December 1996.
