166 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Education if national lottery surplus funding is available in 1997; the amount available; and the current situation in relation to an application by a group (details supplied) in County Donegal. [8805/97]
A total of £6 million is being allocated by my Department in 1997 to projects under the Sports Capital Programme.
The application from the group concerned, which is one of over 1,000 applications in hand, will be considered when decisions are being made on grant allocations this year.
