190 Mr. Jacob asked the Minister for Education if she will provide the necessary funding in order to effect roof repairs at Arklow Community College, County Wicklow, in order to eliminate the long-standing hardship suffered by pupils and teachers at the college; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The application for funding for roof repairs to Arklow Community College, County Wicklow is currently under consideration in my Department.
Unfortunately, because of the extensive programme of work on hands, it has not been possible to provide funding for the replacement roof project to date.
It is hoped that this project will be proceeded with as soon as financial provisions allow.
