Ceist:

141 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the estimated cost of staff in his ministerial offices, such as programme managers, advisers, support staff and other such related costs for 1997; and the comparative figures for 1993 and 1987. [9324/97]

The information in relation to my office is as follows:

1993	£453,689
1997 (Estimated)	£508,887

The costs include salaries, PRSI, superannuation and overheads.

As the Department of Enterprise and Employment was only established on 20 January 1993, it is not possible to give comparative figures for the year 1987.
